Iain Ewing

Iain Ewing has conducted seminars in Singapore, Japan, China, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Australia, U.S.A., Canada, Mexico, Europe and South America for Cabinet Ministers, Members of Parliament, Chief Executive Officers, Managers, Executives and Professionals in more than 400 companies and government organizations. His clients include many of the most successful multinational corporations.
He was born in the United Kingdom, grew up in Canada (where he graduated from the University of Toronto with First Class Honors in Philosophy and English Literature), and lived in the United States for 3 years.
He also lived in India for more than 6 years and has travelled widely in South Asia.
He has worked as a University Professor and Media Producer in tertiary educational institutions, as well as a TV producer, director and actor. As a result, he combines an understanding of the commercial needs of the private sector, together with the academic rigour and discipline of the tertiary institution. He has lived in Singapore since 1985.

Tejas Ewing
Trainer and
Consultant
Tejas Ewing has worked as a journalist in India and Canada, a climate change and corporate social responsibility consultant in the United Kingdom and a trainer in Brazil, China, India, Germany and Singapore.
Tejas has conducted Media Skills and Presentation Skills training for Cisco Systems, SAP and Siemens and Pro-Bono work for the Make-A-Wish foundation, the new National Kidney Foundation and Habitat for Humanity. Tejas helped prepare the current CEO of the new National Kidney Foundation for her first press conference and media event.
As a journalist, Tejas specialised in environmental, development and social-justice related reporting and analysis for The Hindu, one of the most influential and respected English-language newspapers in India, with a circulation of over one million and a readership of over six million. He had over 50 stories published, including two front-page stories, magazine articles, feature-length pieces and photographs.
As an environmental consultant, Tejas:
Helped create and implement a strategy to accurately measure and reduce CO2 emissions with the Royal Society for
the Protection of Birds, liaising directly with the CEO and Board of Directors.
Worked for Cheltenham Borough Council, UK, to create a sustainable tourism strategy, and wrote a report on
energy saving strategies for the council executives.
Worked with British Telecom in London to create a unique tool to track, measure and account for sustainable
business opportunities within BT.
Tejas is part Canadian-British and part Indian, and grew up in India and Singapore. Tejas studied Geography at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, specialising in Sustainable Development.
He completed the prestigious Forum for the Future Master’s Degree in Leadership for Sustainable Development, based in London. He was one of only twelve students to be accepted for the program, a unique course which gives students unparalleled access to the workings of government and business.
He has just taken on an exciting new role spearheading an innovative Climate Change Adaptation campaign at the New Economics Foundation in London - www.neweconomics.org - the think tank of the year in 2002. As part of his new job at the New Economics Foundation, Tejas will be speaking on 2 panels at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen between Dec 7 and Dec 18, 2009.

Lin Mei
Associate Trainer
and Consultant
Lin Mei is the Executive Director of LinKnowledge Pte Ltd, a training and consulting company founded by her in January 2009. In partnership with Ewing Communications, she offers training in financial and communication skills, as well as providing various financial and business advisory and equity fund raising exercises for potential listings and listed companies in China and Singapore.
Prior to 2009, Lin Mei was a Vice President of Singapore Exchange Ltd (SGX), where she worked for 8 years.
In her first 6 years at SGX, she was one of the key people of Listings in Markets Group of SGX to develop and promote Singapore as a listing platform for companies in China and Korea. She was also actively involved in the market development of the fast growing Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). She lead various road shows and represented SGX by speaking in many major conferences, such as “China Global and Finance Fair”, “Real Estate Investment & Securitization Asia Pacific”, “China Beijing International High-tech Expo”, “Chinese Business Leaders Summit”, “China High-Tech Fair”, “China-Singapore Business Forum”, and “First China Airport Asset Management Summit”.
In her last 2 years at SGX, she was in Issuer Regulation of the Risk Management and Regulation Group, and engaged in reviewing and approval of new IPO applications and monitoring the listed companies of SGX. During her work, she also spoke in SGX’s corporate governance seminars and trained the top management of listed companies on the listing rules and best practices of SGX.
Prior to joining SGX, Lin Mei worked as a senior consultant in Stone Forest Consulting Pte Ltd, where she was involved in financial and business advisory, and IPO consulting. Before joining Stone Forest, sheworked as an auditor in a CPA firm in Singapore and Arthur Andersen in Beijing.
Lin Mei graduated from Tsinghua University in 1995 with a Master’s degree in Technology Economics and two Bachelor’s degrees (in Engineering and Economics). She is a member of ACCA. Lin Mei is married, with two children.

David Jefferson

As Ewing Communication’s North American partner, David runs a U.S. consultancy, TheSchool, that offers the complete menu of Ewing Communications training programs, as well as continuing education and youth-oriented development programs. David has over 25 years of experience as an editor, advertising executive and new business development manager. His relationship with Iain Ewing goes back many years to their days as writers and film-makers.
David has produced hundreds of training and communications programs for Fortune 500 companies and is an award-winning commercial director and producer, having worked on campaigns for many national brands in the U.S. His approach to sales training employs a consumer-centric research platform, as well as other research-based benchmarking protocols. In addition, he loves working with as wide a range of cultures as possible.
